Journey with us this Advent season as we look at stories in the Bible leading up to Jesus' birth, stories of Gods's promised redemption that would come in the dark of night.

  1. November 28 : “In the Night: A Dove”

    1. This morning is the 1st Sunday in Advent. This year’s Advent sermon series is “In The Night: A Christmas Journey.” Our nighttime journey begins with the account of Noah’s ark coming to rest on the mountain, where we then will see the unfolding of hopefulness after a time of destruction.

  2. December 5: “In the Night: A Dream”

    1. This morning is the 2nd Sunday in Advent. This year’s Advent sermon series is “In The Night: A Christmas Journey.” Our nighttime journey continues with the account of Jacob and his unique nighttime dream given to him by God. Why does that dream point ahead to the coming Messiah?

    1. This morning for our Advent sermon series “In The Night: A Christmas Journey” we hear of the account of the people of Israel as they have just entered into the Promised Land. What changed after their evening celebration of the Passover?

    1. This morning for our Advent sermon series “In The Night: A Christmas Journey” we hear of the account of Ruth and Boaz. Why does what happen that nighttime further bring about a significant part of God’s plan of restoring hope to a once-grieving widow and also a rescuing of His people?

  5. December 19 PM: “In the Night: David’s Line”

    1. This evening we continue in our Advent sermon series during our Candlelight Christmas Service by hearing of the nighttime prophecy received from God by the prophet Zechariah. What is the hopeful message that is to be brought to God’s people then and now?
