This evening we conclude our sermon series on prayer as we examine some instances in Scripture where people prayed earnestly to God for one thing, only to receive a “no” answer from God to those prayers.  Why would God say “no” when those praying dearly wanted a “yes” or relief from their burdens and struggles?  And what does that teach us today when it comes to our own prayers offered up to God?
