Libertas Christian School welcomes parenting mentors, Joey and Carla Link, for a day full of discipleship on Monday, October 1 hosted here at Beaverdam CRC. There will be a “Parenting Q&A” time from 12:30-2:30 in the church’s lower level, and a “Parent’s Night Out” talk from 6:30-8:30 p.m. here at church. Joey and Carla Link are known for making parenting practical. Joey’s experience is in youth and family ministry and Carla’s degree is in social work. Together, they have served in partnership with the international parent ministry Growing Families for over 20 years. They are the authors of Why Can’t I Get My Kids to Behave, Taming the Lecture Bug and Getting Your Kids to Think, and the Mom’s Notes. They are parents of three adult children and have three grandchildren. If you would like to attend one or both of these parenting class sessions,please sign up on the sheet in the back of church.
