This evening we begin a “new” sermon series, having finished up recently with the book of I Kings. We continue the story with the accounts of II Kings, of the lives of prophets like Elijah and Elisha, as well as the remaining kings over Israel and Judah. Tonight we hear about Ahab’s son, Ahaziah, and Elijah’s run in with soldiers whom Ahaziah had sent to arrest him. What became of them all, and why?
