This morning we welcome back Seminarian David Kerkstra to our pulpit. He will be kicking off our morning Lenten sermon series on the topic “The People of Jesus’ Cross.” It will be a sermon series bringing us through Easter morning where week-by-week we hear about different individuals in the Bible who played some type of role in the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, and then eventually as a witness to His resurrection. This morning we will be introduced to Lazarus and why his death and resurrection were important in the story of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
