This morning we begin a Lenten sermon series (“Learning from Ashes”) which will lead us up to Good Friday and Easter. What brings about the use of ashes in the Bible? And how is the death and resurrection of Jesus God’s gracious response to all of that? Today we hear from Job and why he ended up sitting in a pile of ashes.
